Hello! I wanted to take a few minutes to introduce myself and the new Central Region executive board.
My name is Kristin Hathaway, and I was recently selected to be the president of the central region. Currently, my family is stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. I have great passion for women's ministry, and PWOC is the best women's ministry I have seen. It has challenged me to grow in my relationship with the Lord, and has taught me to appreciate how God reveals a bit of himself in each one of us.
Your vice president/conference coordinator is Kesha Coleman, currently stationed at Fort Hood. Your administrative coordinator is Krista Kalvaitis, also at Fort Hood.
In the next few months, we will tell you more about ourselves and where we see the Lord taking this region for the next two years.
I am so excited to serve this region! God has big plans for us and it is going to be fun to watch what He does. I'm going to share my vision with you soon, so keep checking the blog for updates.
With great anticipation,
Kristin

Welcome to the Sanctuary!!
Each of the registered 18 groups have arrived at Windermere. The opening session was a marvelous time of praise as we entered the Sanctuary. Lucia Rossman, PWOC International 1st Vice President, shared her moving testimony and revealed the location of the 2010 Conference. (Ask your ladies when they get home and start planning for next year!)
Tomorrow morning, attendees will be blessed to hear Shellie Kelly our Theme Speaker for the first time this weekend. I will try to post some photos so that everyone can enjoy the smiling faces and PWOC moments being experienced here.
Your Fort Hood sisters appreciate your continued prayers.

the way; walk in it.”
Sunday, October 25 – Ask God to give each attendee
receptive hearts to hear what He has to say during the conference

wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault,
and it will be given to him.

Conference Prayer Calendar REPENT
REPENT
Thursday,
October 15 – Wednesday, October 21
This week we will ask God to show us anything that might be standing in
the way of full surrender to Him. If we want to hear Him clearly, we must
repent of anything that is standing in the way of complete fellowship with Him.
Use the selected Scriptures to help you get started.
Thursday, October 15 –
Repent of idolatry
Ezekiel 14:6
Therefore say to
the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord GOD: Repent, turn away from your idols,
and turn your faces away from all your abominations.
Friday, October 16 –
Repent of worry
Luke 12:28
If then God so
clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the
oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith?
Saturday, October 17 –
Repent of fear
Luke 12:32
Do not fear, little
flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
Sunday, October 18 –
Repent of unforgiveness
Ephesians 4:32
And be kind to one
another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave
you.
Monday, October 19 –
Repent of any unclean speech
Ephesians 5:4
…neither
filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but
rather giving of thanks.
Tuesday, October 20 – Repent of any place where your
heart has been hardened toward the things of God
Isaiah 57:15
For thus says the
High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the
high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the
humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
Wednesday, October 21 –
Repent of any other unconfessed sin (Ask the Lord to bring it to mind)
1 John 1:9
If we confess our
sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness.

Conference Prayer Calendar --PRAISE
From the Conference Prayer Calendar for this week of Praise
Sunday, October 11 – Praise God for Jesus
Colossians 1:15-16
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
Monday, October 12 – Praise God for guiding us to salvation
Psalm 25:8
Good and upright is the LORD; Therefore He teaches sinners in the way.
Tuesday, October 13 – Praise God for His provision
Psalm 36:5-9
Your mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. Your righteousness is like the great mountains; Your judgments are a great deep; O LORD, You preserve man and beast. How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, And You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures. For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light.
Wednesday, October 14 – Praise God for his goodness
Psalm 34:8
Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
